Key points
Vueni connects bank accounts and cards, email receipts, shipment tracking and, if you choose, health signals from a wearable.
It matches each card purchase to its receipt by amount, merchant and time, then links the package and the return window.
For each purchase, Vueni builds a stress score from 0 to 100 against your own baseline, and every point shows its reason.
Smart Nudges suggest a step, such as a lower per-purchase limit until morning, which you can accept or turn down.
Calm Mode only acts on its own if you turn on automatic mode, and it always tells you what it did and when it ends.
Vueni works in three steps: connect, understand, steady.
What Vueni connects
Vueni brings together information that usually lives in different places:
Bank accounts and cards. Your Vueni Card, plus other accounts and cards you choose to connect.
Email receipts. From Gmail, Outlook or iCloud Mail, or from any inbox through your private forwarding address.
Shipment tracking. Tracking numbers from order and shipping emails, from UPS and similar carriers.
Health signals, if you choose. Sleep, heart rate variability and resting heart rate from Apple Health on your iPhone. That includes data from Apple Watch, the sleep and resting heart rate WHOOP syncs to Apple Health, and the sleep Oura syncs to it.
Health signals are optional. Vueni uses the signals your device provides and leaves any missing signal out of the score. Vueni still works without them. They are computed on your iPhone, and Vueni receives a derived score, never your raw health records.
Matching a purchase to its receipt and package
A card statement shows a short merchant name and an amount. A receipt shows what you bought. Vueni puts the two together.
It compares three things: the amount, the merchant name and the time. Receipts often arrive a little after the charge, so Vueni allows for a short gap. If no receipt is a clear match, Vueni leaves the purchase unmatched. It does not guess.
When a receipt includes a tracking number, Vueni links the shipment too. When it includes return terms, such as “free returns within 30 days of delivery,” Vueni can track the return window for you.
Reading the day behind a purchase
Vueni looks at the context around each purchase:
The time of day.
How many purchases came just before it.
The category, such as clothing or food delivery.
Whether the amount is much bigger than your usual.
Whether you have returned things to this store before.
If you connected a wearable, the sleep, heart rate variability and resting heart rate it provides, against your own baseline.
The stress score
Each purchase gets a stress score from 0 to 100. The score compares this moment with your own usual pattern, not with other people.
Every point has a reason you can see. Vueni shows the score like a receipt. Each signal is a line with its points. The lines add up to the total.
Context such as late hours or short sleep does not raise the score on essentials like groceries. A hard morning should not turn your coffee into a stress purchase.
A late-night clothing order after a short night, the third order in 24 hours, can pick up seven signals that add up to 83. Our guide to the stress score walks through each line.
When a purchase scores high
When a moment looks hard, Vueni sends a Smart Nudge: a suggestion you can take or leave.
In the example, the nudge suggests a $125 per-purchase limit on the Vueni Card until 8 AM. The limit is sized so groceries still go through. The member can also turn it down.
Calm Mode is the setting behind these steps. By default, Calm Mode only suggests. If you turn on automatic Calm Mode, it can lower your per-purchase limit or pause your card for a few hours. It always tells you what it did and when it ends.
Staying in control
You choose what to connect. You can use Vueni with only your bank activity and receipts.
You choose how Calm Mode works. It blocks nothing unless you turn on automatic mode. The one block on every card is gambling, which is declined at the card.
Every score shows its reasons. If a signal looks wrong to you, you can see exactly where it came from.
Health data has its own rules. Vueni never sells it and never uses it for credit, underwriting or advertising.

Questions
Does Vueni block my purchases?
Only gambling, by default: sportsbooks, casinos and lotteries are declined on every Vueni Card. Everything else is your choice. Calm Mode sends Smart Nudges, which you can take or leave, unless you turn on automatic mode. Then it can lower your per-purchase limit or pause your card for a few hours, and it tells you what it did and when it ends.
Do I need a wearable to use Vueni?
No. Vueni can score a purchase from the time, the pace of your orders, the category, the amount and your return history. Health signals from a wearable add more context, but they are optional.
Is Vueni a bank?
No. The Understanding Company is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts, cards and money movement are provided through Whop’s financial infrastructure and its partners.
Vueni is an invite‑only card and account.
